BFC PROGRAMS
Books Giving
BFC’s Classroom Booksgiving is a literacy initiative dedicated to bringing the joy of reading directly into classrooms. Through this program, we provide students with books they can call their own, helping to inspire curiosity, imagination, and a lifelong love of learning. By partnering with educators and supporters,
Classroom Booksgiving ensures that more children have access to diverse, engaging stories that encourage creativity and strengthen reading skills. Together, we are turning generosity into opportunity—one classroom, one book, and one reader at a time.

BFC Literacy Access Kits
The Bookish Fairy Club (BFC) Literacy Kits Program is a year-round initiative designed to increase access to books and promote a love of reading among children and families. Through this program, BFC provides literacy-based resources that support early learning, reading engagement, and family connection.
The program delivers literacy kits through two primary methods to ensure both local and nationwide reach:
BFC Literacy Boxes are shipped directly to families across the United States, providing children with access to books and literacy materials regardless of location.
BFC Literacy Bags are distributed locally through community partnerships, including schools, libraries, and events, allowing BFC to reach families within the community in a more direct and accessible way.
Each literacy kit includes a curated selection of age-appropriate books, literacy activities, and supplemental materials designed to encourage reading, creativity, and continued learning at home. The
BFC Literacy Kits Program aims to reduce barriers to literacy resources, support educational development, and create meaningful opportunities for children and families to engage with reading in a positive and accessible way. By combining direct-to-home distribution with community-based outreach, BFC is able to expand its impact, reach diverse populations, and build a growing network of readers nationwide.

Between the Lines
Teen Virtual Meet
Virtual Book Club for Teens
The Bookish Fairy Club Virtual Teen Book Club is an interactive online reading experience designed for teens who enjoy stories, creativity, and meaningful conversations. Participants receive a free copy of the featured book and are invited to read it over several weeks before joining a live virtual discussion with other teens.
During the program, teens will explore the story together, share perspectives, and connect with peers who enjoy reading. The experience goes beyond simply reading a book—it encourages self-expression, critical thinking, and creativity through discussion and reflective activities.
Participants will also receive journaling prompts and creative writing activities inspired by the story, allowing them to reflect on themes, characters, and personal connections to the book. The live discussion provides a welcoming and respectful space where teens can share ideas, listen to different viewpoints, and build confidence in expressing themselves.
Following the discussion, teens can participate in fun trivia and interactive activities, with opportunities to win book-related prizes.
Our goal is to create a positive and engaging space where teens can discover new stories, develop a love of reading, express their creativity, and connect with other young readers.
